Me tenant is moving out and I was able to do a quick property inspect prior to her departure.
I discovered holes the size of quaters and dimes in the walls. She tried to fix the holes by using spackle. But you could clearly see that there were holes. I informed her this was an unacceptable fix.
Upon move-out, I noticed that she replaced the spackle and had someone cover up the holes with some hard compound. My walls are white so it doesn't stand out. So now you can't see the holes but some white compound/hard stuff which has been applied and haphazardly sanded on the walls is there. My contractors may have to repair her 'repair work'. Do I have a right to deduct this from her deposit
